EIR gladly announces the publication of two new papers in its Policy Brief series

The European Institute of Romania gladly announces the publication of two new papers in its Policy Brief series. The first one is the product of a series of interventions made during a round table organized by EIR on 19 September 2017, with the general theme of Transatlantic Relation. 20th Anniversary of the United States-Romania Strategic Partnership. Some of the featured speakers have answered positively to our invitation of writing a small opinion article based on their presentation. All of these contributions have been put together in the pages of an atypical and heterogenous policy brief, benefiting from the experience of various representatives of the Romanian epistemic community. The full text of the publication, written in Romanian, can be accessed here.

In the second paper, the author Horia Ciurtin aims to evaluate the manner in which China intends to implement its new Belt-and-Road Initiative and how its own goals correspond to those of the European Union, bearing in mind the larger strategic context. Mr. Ciurtin is a legal adviser in the field of international investment law and international arbitration and an Expert for New Strategy Center. He holds a BA in Laws and an MA in “European and National Business Law” from the Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca. The full text of the publication can be accessed here.
